If pollinators designed gardens, what would humans see?

Created in collaboration with artist Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg, I commissioned this digital interactive artwork as a Creative Lead at Google Arts & Culture.

Accompanying the physical garden commissioned by and at the Eden Project, it enables people to create their own pollinator garden thanks to an algorithmic tool that is trained on pollinator flight paths and their preferred local flora.

The algorithm has created a planting design to support the maximum pollinator species possible, using plants from a curated selection of plants chosen for their benefits to pollinators.
